Interactive States

Objective: To create informational tabs on Google Earth using primary documents and basic html tags.
Resources:

• Basic html Tag Guide

Directions:

1. As a group, choose one region of the country.
2. For each state within that region, your group will create at least two placemarks.
3. First,put a placemark on the state capital.
4. Add descriptive information for the first placemark. The appearance of the text and the placement of the image will need to be coded in html. For a guide to basic html tags, click here.
5. For the second placemark, find a primary source document r interesting image that relates to each state.
6. Add descriptive information for the second placemark. The appearance of the text and the placement of the image will need to be coded in html. For a guide to basic html tags, click here.
7. Save the file on your computer.
8. Upload the file onto Wikispaces.
